Our Lady of Mount Carmel Vintage & New Holy Medallion by F. Lasserre & A. Penin. For Sale

A very unique opportunity to purchase a never before sold but vintage medallion featuring Our Lady of Mount Carmel on the front and the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the back. 1  inch in diameter. 7 grams. This medallion appears to be equal parts silver and possibly three other alloys. The medallion is designed by Firmin-Pierre Lasserre and struck at the Adolphe Penin foundry in Lyon France.  From the unsold inventory of The Catholic Art Store in business from 1906 to 1965 in San Francisco specializing in imported Sterling and silver medals and medallions from France.  Can be buffed up beautifully if desired.
