These are the books I personally read while the series was being released, All first editios, all but one are first printings. The early books show the wear of being read multiple times but are still in basically good condition. One Hardcover in the set. Further notes below:

Yes, I start this list with the set for the second arc, that is because it was the first published. This includes Neil Gaiman's "In the beginning" summary of what happened in the first arc, removed from future editions.
**Good Condition - Creases on the covers and some fading on the inside and back pages.

**Acceptable Condition - Has minor water damage. If I remember correctly, the top was accidentally dipped for a moment in bath water. Dried without any pages sticking.

**Good Condition - Wear is not noticeable, however, brand new, it was not the best binding job. Pages came loose... I stuck them back in place, possibly even used library paste to put them back in.... And I swear I could not find any loose pages while flipping through. But it may happen when you do.
