Once he activated the hilt it lit up a bright blue before suddenly shutting off. Before he could react the side of the hilt exploded causing him to lose his thumb and first two fingers on his right hand. Even though he got synthetic replacements the incident would leave him embarrassed and unsure of himself. The Padawan would continue from this point doing the bare minimum. Only do enough to pass. But when he entered the Jedi trials to become a Knight all his doubts, fears, and insecurities got the best of him and he failed the trials. While Jedi are given another chance, this Padawan didn\'t. Instead he went back to his home world where he would use his powers to protect his friends and family. The lightsaber would be passed down until one day someone noticed it on a wall in a Jedi temple. Not knowing how it got there or who it\'s from the history was lost to the Jedi forever.

I wanted to make a crystal reveal on this hilt, but thought it would look cooler if it had exploded giving the open vents you see the crystal through. I put a lot of effort into building this. If anyone buys it I hope you enjoy it as I have.
