Vintage 1957 C-2 Gillette Flair Tip.

There's not much to say on this one. It's the ever popular flair tip, albeit one from the second quarter of 1957. Everything functions well, and it is devoid of mechanical defects. Doors are straight, bar is straight, and the tto is buttery smooth.

Plating is almost perfect, with the only flaws being on the end caps, which look like they've been scuffed, and a small mark on the bottom of the baseplate.

If you're new to wetshaving or want to get someone else into it, the flair tip is a great point to start. These are smooth, mild shavers and will outlive your grandkids' grandkids if you take care of them. Gillette really made their double edge razors to last.

As with all my listings, everything has been boiled for sanitary reasons and then polished with a jeweler's cloth.
