It has been housed in its original protective wooden case since its decommissioning.Specifically significant is an original inventory label dated August 1, 1977—placed just 60 days prior to the official base closure—marking its transition from active military service to the retained complex inventory.

The instrument is in very good vintage condition. The chrome/nickel plating maintains a bright, high-quality shine with light service-wear character. There are scratches on the back of the gauge and various parts of the plating. The internal dial is crisp and clear. Most notably, the original wooden box is in fantastic structural shape.

A definitive "over-engineered" piece of Cold War era Air Force history. Securely packed and shipped to preserve its fantastic condition.
