Framed vintage satiric comic strip black and white captioned art by artist Harry Hanan (1916-1982). "WHY OF COURSE I'LL MARRY YOU - BY THE WAY WHO IS IT SPEAKING?" 13-1/2" x 12" - Signed and has a postage "registered" stamp on the back of artwork, dated April 1, 1941. This was prior to his work on comic strips - We believe that it was most likely while he was away at war and the watercolor was sent home due to the postage stamp on the back of the art.
