Up for sale is a beautiful vintage pair of mid-century Japanese redware ceramic figurines depicting two of the iconic Seven Lucky Gods (Shichifukujin).Included Figures: - Ebisu: The God of Prosperity, Luck, and Fishermen, beautifully detailed holding a large lucky sea bream fish (tai).
- Bishamonten: The God of Wisdom, Warriors, and Protection, depicted in traditional armor holding a staff and a miniature treasure pagoda.
Features & Details: - Craftsmanship: Features classic unglazed reddish-brown clay faces and caps contrasted with a speckled, light oatmeal-glazed body and subtle blue accent washes.
- Authenticity: Both pieces retain their original blue and white foil "Made in Japan" stickers on the back.
- Size: Each figurine stands approximately 4.5 inches tall.
