Offered here is a remarkable Loudre Monks carved wood, wall Rosary. Monks would carve these to sell to supplement their income. Often, these would be hung on the wall of French country barns or homes to bring blessing and prosperity.

The wood beads have gathered a fine patina over the decades. I believe these to be made circa 1930s.

Total length of the rosary measures about 24 1/2" long from tip to tip. Beads measure about 11 mm wide.
