a small, antique, 18th - 19th Century wax seal stamp and pipe tamper / stopper in one,

the handle depicts a

medieval armored leg and foot, showing knee and foot caps - Poleyns and Sabatons,

delicate and precise casted,

the matrix shows a seal with an eagle standing upright on a perch with it's wings closed,

in heraldry called Eagle Close / Closed,

made of metal, perhaps bronze with remains of gilding

- the last picture is only informative and not included with the sale -

condition: signs of age and use, a little hole on the top - purpose unknown

height: circa 3,3 cm / circa 1.2 inch
