  • Offered here is a wonderful set of whimsical Kronheim & Oldenbusch  (K&O) bookends: Tug of War. 

  • Circa 1932

  • This is one of Kronheim’s & Oldenbusch’s most popular pair of bookends. Check out the puppy underneath  who is getting the worst of it.

  • The paint and patina on this set is outstanding!

  • The K&O shop mark is on the backseat of the last little boy on each piece. See photo

  • Construction is gray metal with a painted finish

  • Take a good look at the photos and all of the intricacies of the casting.

  • Great condition. No dings or dents or scrapes etc.


  • The K&O bookends are 5 inches tall, 6 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches deep.  The pair weigh 5 lbs. 2 oz.
