1890’s to 1900’s John Gamzel cabinet card. Published in Chicago. Tough to read the photographer name. It’s a bit to stylized. Ganzel played for the Cubs in 1900. His brother Charlie also had a substantial MLB career. The Ganzel’s were Kalamazoo Michigan natives. John had a long baseball career. He was the highest paid minor league manager in the country at a time. He coached into the 1950’s. Card is trimmed. A little over 4 by 6 inch in size. Stains, toning and wear.
