1980 Franklin Gallery SONGBIRDS OF THE WORLD Engravings : Pair of Two:

Up for sale are a pair of Franklin Gallery "Songbirds of the World" framed and matted engravings; the Diamond Firetail and the European Goldfinch.

Each is framed behind glass (making them somewhat heavy) and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) from Franklin Gallery. According this certification on the back of each piece, they are "original color engravings created by Robin, hand-engraved by Yves Beaujard and issued by the Franklin Gallery." See photos.

They were printed in 1980 and measure approximately 8.25 inches tall and 7 inches wide to include their frames. They may be displayed on a shelf or they may be hung on a wall. They have been displayed and are no longer with their original shipping boxes. I believe these works of art are from a set of 8 color bird engravings issued by The Franklin Gallery that were each drawn by Robin Hill and engraved by Yves Beaujard.

Both are in very good condition with light wear from being displayed.
