Bardock Cel - Production Artwork from DBZ Special "The Father of Goku" For Sale

This authentic production cel was used to make the DBZ special "The Father of Goku," which introduced Bardock for the first time and gave backstory regarding Frieza's genocide against the Saiyan race. In this scene, Bardock collapses to the ground after receiving precognition powers from a dying alien. He sees a vision of the horrors to come and passes out, exhausted from the sight and from battle fatigue.

This cel is over 30 years old and shows very little line fading! The blacks are still vibrant, and there is no sign of vinegar syndrome. There is no douga (line drawing) accompanying this cel, but it is labeled A4, which means it was the 4th cel used for that particular sequence.

Perfect gift for Bardock fans or fans of DBZ/old school anime. It's getting harder and harder to find these outside of items that are upcharging after they pay less than half on Japanese sale sites.
