The Boker Plus VOX F3.5, designedby Jesper Voxnaes, is the consistent evolution of the well known Boker Plus F3,which was one of the most popular knives in Boker's range thanks to itsextremely sturdy construction. The F3.5 convinces with almost identical dimensionsand is equipped with a reliable stainless steel frame lock. The blade, made ofD2 with a satin finish, is opened using the thumb opening. The ergonomicallyshaped handle with a front scale made of micarta is very comfortable tohold, and details such as the blue anodized clip (tip-up).

D2 Steel

With a chromium content of12%, D2 — a tool steel — can certainly be classified as a stainless steel.Since its chromium content is right on the threshold, however, a little morecare for the D2 wouldn't go amiss. As an upper-tier conventional steel, D2 offersgreat edge retention and stability, though sharpening it takes a little effort.
