We are offering a Delegate Medal for the 59th Annual Convention of the Firemen's Association State of New York held at Troy, NY August 18-21, 1931. The medal says, "City Corporation, Troy N. Y." and " Iliumfuit Troja Est " - Latin for "It Was Troy". It has a depiction of sailing ships in the background with barrels and crates on the shore and what appears to be a bundle of wheat. The medal is 1 3/8" in diameter, and the entire piece, including the ribbon and pin bar, measures is 3 3/4". The maker's name on the back has partially worn away but we know it's by Bastion Bros. Co.
