The Iowa City Flint GLASS Company was opened in 1880 & closed in 1882. This whimsical plate depicts a dog laying down and around the dog are the words BE TRUE.
There are handles on the plate that show birds.
The plate measures about 61/2" handle to handle.
This plate is in MINT CONDITION.
The plates is about 142 years old.
It is EXTREMLY RARE.
