M1908 Bayonetswere made in Germany for the Brazilian 7mm Mauser M1908 Rifle and the 30-06 Mauser M1908/34 Short Rifles.However it will fit many Mauser variants with standard bayonet lug. According to Worldbayonets(dot)com these bayonets were made under contract between 1908-1914 by several German blade makers. This one was manufactured by Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co. in Solingen, Germany. It has a 11.75" blade with fuller, a 5-1/4" handle with wood scales and a long curved steel quillon. The lug lock is fully functional. Original issue FI (Fabrica de Itajuba) sheath/scabbard with BRASS Locket and Chape is included.Pictures are of the item you will receive and are part of the description. Blade has a mottled gray patina with nicks and evidence of corrosion on blade.Read the following before buying:
