Niagara Grape Market Co. was organized in 1889. One office was with the Niagara White Grape Co. in Lockport and a second office was in New York City, where Garrit G. Lansing of Lockport was general agent and cashier for the company. Large quantities of the vine were shipped all over the world, but eventually production increased to the point where the market was flooded and prices dropped. In 1915, the Niagara White Grape Co. was gone, but the Niagara Grape Market Co. remained at 36 Ashley Building in Lockport until 1921, when it also disappeared.
