Civil War metal relics dug in the 1960s and 1970s around the Fort Blakely & Spanish Fort battlefields. Includes Spencer cartridge casings, 4 general service buttons (imperfect but all have shanks), musket caps, 7 bullets including a carved one, a chewed “pain” bullet (almost certainly chewed by rodents not a human), 5 Confederate “Selma Lube Groove” Enfields dug in one hole together (with corrosion from the powder). Also, several spent friction primers used to fire cannons, and a broken knapsack hook rivet end.
