Trygg wood carving, Sweden, hand carved and painted For Sale

This exquisite whimsical wood carving, created by one of the members Trygg family of artists (Carl Johan Trygg (1887-1954) and his three sons, Carl Olaf Trygg (1910-1993), Lars Trygg (1929-1999), Nils Trygg (1914-1951). As a point of reference, from time to time, all of the Trygg artists would sign their pieces \"Hand carved by Trygg\", therefore it is impossible to determine just which one actually created this particular piece. The entire Trygg family were renowned for being some of the 20th century true masters of wood carving. This piece stands 5 1/4 inches in height and is a testament to the artist\'s skill and attention to detail. This original piece is signed on the bottom of the base by the artist. This piece of art is a must-have for any collector or lover of art.
