Vintage COUSANCES le Creuset Bellied Small Bean Soup Pot Side handles Volcanic For Sale

Beautiful soup or bean pot. It's an unusual small lidded cast iron pot with a stunning volcanic orange enamel exterior.There is a single chip to the edge of the lid and some wear to one handle. All clearly indicated in the photos.It was made in France by Cousances, the predecessor to Le Creuset.The bulging center, the two small handles on either side of the pot, and the knob on top of the lid all say Cousances, and everything about it is highly desirable.The interior, enameled in a cream color, is in very good condition, still shiny and free of chips or corrosion.It is also marked COUSANCES on the bottom of the lid.The approximate dimensions are height is 4.5 inches (11.43 cm) without the lid and with a diameter of 6 inches (15.24 cm) at its bulging center. It is a true vintage pot, highly collectible in this superb condition and this vibrant orange volcanic color.300QA
