It was created around World War 1 which seems sadly fitting. It reminds me of people on a ship many decades ago seeing the statue of liberty for the first time..but I digress. My relatives immigrated from Germany in the 1800s so that is my take on it. What do you see?A captain is scouting while a man is comforting a weary woman in a white, cobalt blue and gold floral dress and hat.I am told the gold accents and impressed gold band around the bottom is actual 24k Gold.There are very very few of these to be found!
