The specimen has an unusually broad and flattened tabular form, dominated by two closely intergrown main quartz crystals that rise together into a beautiful double-peak profile.One of its strongest features is the exceptionally complex surface growth structure. Large areas display pronounced circuit-board-like etching, dense horizontal growth lines, stepped terraces, and intersecting growth fronts. These patterns create a striking mountain-range appearance, with multiple layers appearing to overlap, compress, and shift across the crystal surface.The paired main crystals show relatively high transparency through the upper portions, allowing the internal growth structure and scattered natural mineral inclusions to remain visible. Bright reflective areas across the faces produce strong mirror-like flashes when the specimen is turned under light.Along one side is a distinctive laterally developed tabular crystal, growing outward from the main body and creating a strong contrast with the upright double-crystal structure. This side growth contributes to the specimen’s unusual compressed and architectural appearance.The crystal surfaces also show areas of stepped growth interference, contact-growth textures, irregular etched sections, and localized secondary overgrowth. Some areas appear almost skeletal or interrupted, as if multiple stages of crystal growth were preserved within the same specimen.Natural brown to dark-brown iron-oxide staining appears in scattered areas of the crystal and along the matrix. The back and lower portions retain natural beige clay and matrix material, together with white mineral crusts and scattered dark mineral fragments.Rather than being a simple isolated quartz point, this specimen preserves a complex record of constrained growth, crystal-to-crystal interference, natural etching, secondary growth, and mineral association.The combination of its paired main crystals, flattened tabular habit, strong circuit-board etching, mountain-like stepped growth patterns, lateral tabular crystal, natural matrix, and high-clarity reflective faces gives this piece a highly distinctive Himalayan mineral specimen character.
