1880’s Walter Hackett cabinet card. Published by Morthorst of Rochester NY. Walter was a Cambridge Massachusetts native. He played 2 seasons MLB for Boston 1884 and 1885. Walter played the 1886 season in the International League for Rochester. Walter’s brother Mert also played MLB. The Hackett brothers were cousin’s of the MLB Clarkson trio. John Clarkson is in the HOF. All three Clarkson’s were pitchers. Walter’s brother Mert was a catcher. Walter was the oddball who played short. Card is a little less than 5 by 7 inch.
