The cover presents a portrait of Charles Dickens within decorative borders; branch officers are listed, including President Major E. F. Coates, M.P., and Honorary Secretary James E. Palmer.

The interior prints the full programme of entertainment: musical performances, recitations, and dramatic sketches. Items include “Bob Sawyer’s Party” (from Pickwick Papers) recited by E.
