Very rare 117-year-old San Francisco Chronicle newspapers, all with John E. Sheridan color cover. Back cover also in color, rare for 1908.
I am an avid John Sheridan collector and have amassed a large collection from magazines to paintings!
This RARE complete insert magazine for 16 1/2" x 22 1/4" Sunday Supplements includes:
September 13, 1908, with 12 pages and color Sheridan cover of pretty young day flying across sky on suitcase" for cover story titled "The End of Summer Vacation Home Bound". Back cover in color and a true story, "Selling Your Hair" to get married with photo images!
All complete and in good condition considering they are 117 years old and pulp newspaper print. Edges appear to have been bound and separating, and all have a horizontal subscription fold.
MAILINGThis is still very still supple asa dealer in paper, I believe this large pulp paper is better gently rolled in heavy paper and put into a mailing tube with padding.
It can be mailed flat with much more effort due to size and lots of cardboard.
