1940's CONGO Tribal African Nubian Princess JUNGLE Barkcloth Era Vintage Fabric For Sale

This offering is for ONE very rare and fabulous CONGO print...a view of the jungle with a tribal African Nubian princess amidst zebras in a leafy jungle paradise....this fabric is one that hasn't come along for years...one of my favs...it has all the bells and whistles of mid century jungle African kitsch. A upholstery grade cotton canvas...not a traditional weave of barkcloth...a distinct colorway...so unusual...turquoise...minty limes...chartreuse...deep dark and creamy chocolates...minty putty....with cocoa on a creamy latte ground. I had a original bolt of this fabric...it is a Kandell Fabric and the bolt tag said it was "Pattern Congo". Measures 24 inches wide x 32 inches...this piece would be fab made into a huge pillow...but man of man framed in a bamboo frame behind glass would be the cats meow....MEOW! Expect flawless.
