1961 NASA, Cape Canaveral, FL, lot of two (2), Astronaut Alan B. Shepard, Jr., “Silver Space Suit”, B.F. Goodrich Aviation prototype version, Mercury-Redstone 3, Freedom 7, Project Mercury print. Historical black & white glossy press photo print. Press photos from the 1960’s are considered rare, as they were produced in very limited quantities, with low-resolution images, intended for immediate newspaper publication, then discarded, or archived in storage. Overall condition poor to fair at best. Lot sold as is!
