All postcards are from the same W. Pfister, St. Petersburg edition and feature captions printed in both Russian and French.

The collection presents famous St. Petersburg architecture, monuments and city landmarks, including St. Isaac’s Cathedral, Church of the Resurrection of Christ, Mariinsky Theatre, Russian Museum of Emperor Alexander III, State Duma, Gostiny Dvor, Central Post Office, Tsarskoye Selo Railway Station, Monument to Peter the Great, Monument to Nicholas I and other historic views.

Several cards preserve interesting pre-revolutionary names and captions associated with Imperial Russia.
