This black amethyst glass box with hand-applied floral decorations measures about 1 3/4” in diameter and stands about 1” tall.The antique Moser-type glass ladies patch or snuff box appears to be unsigned. The brass or bronze mounts have a nice aged patina. The bottom of the box has a polished pontil and age-appropriate surface wear. There are some small scratches to the paint on the flower however no chips, cracks, or restorations. The hinge is in good working or and the lid and clasp close snugly.A great modern use for these patch or snuff boxes is pill containers as well they also make great storage for small jewelry or trinkets.
