Antique Paris (Old Paris) Porcelain lidded sugar bowl. Circa 1800-1830

Lovely antique French Paris /or Old Paris porcelain sugar can. It is decorated with Grisaille style, monochrome gray tones and depicts people. The type of applied decorations is early decal, or lithograph. The sugar bowl also has gilded rims, door and handles.

To the beast of my knowledge, this piece was made during the early 1800th (possibly earlier) and is likely a part of a larger service.

Condition: As Is due to extensive wear to gilt. Some production imperfections; minor scabs and rough areas. A small chip on interior rim (pictured). Some wear to gray decorations. Please see pictures for more details.

Despite imperfections, this is a nice example of porcelain of the era.

Measures approximately 7.5”H and 5” wide handle to handle.
