Antique Patchwork Quilt Top, Postage Stamp, 1850 - 1880’s, Early Calicos, Brown For Sale

Up for sale is an antique patchwork quilt top. From the 1850’s to 1880’s era. Postage stamp. The square patches measure 1 1/4” by 1 1/4”. The fabrics are early calico prints, solids, checks, florals, etc. Cotton. The colors are all shades of brown, beige, tan, mustard, ecru, pink, white, black, grey, red, peach, multi.

Hand pieced.

Made in USA.

This quilt top has been taken apart from a tied quilt. I have not laundered. Some soiling. A few spots. A few areas where the fabric patches need repair/replacement. A few pull outs. Not many but there are some.

Slight frayed edges.

Large.
