Bowen Designs Namor Sub-Mariner Classic Statue Marvel 2006 READ DESCRIPTION For Sale

Fantastic Bowen Designs full-size Namor statue featuring the Sub-Mariner in his iconic classic green trunks with his large golden trident and an extremely detailed underwater display base.

Sculpted by Randy Bowen, this is an impressive piece standing over 15 inches tall to the top of the staff. The elaborate underwater base features fish, coral, sea life and tremendous sculpted detail.

The statue displays beautifully and is in excellent pre-owned collector condition. Please review all photos carefully, as they show the exact statue and accessories being offered.

The original Classic Version Bowen Designs box is included and is numbered #0222/1000.

I want to fully disclose an unusual numbering discrepancy with this particular example.

The statue is unquestionably the Classic Version Namor, and the original box is also the Classic Version and carries the limited-edition number #0222/1000.

However, the underside of the underwater display base is marked “Namor The Sub-Mariner Battle Armor #0626 of 1500.” The Battle Armor designation was associated with Bowen's Black Costume Namor variant.

I have owned this statue for approximately 15 years and cannot explain why the Classic Version statue and box are paired with a base carrying the Battle Armor designation. The statue and base fit and display together exactly as shown.

Rather than speculate as to whether the base was changed at some point, this discrepancy is being fully disclosed, and photographs of the statue, box numbering and underside of the base are included so the buyer knows exactly what they are purchasing.
