Very niceNANTONarrow/spear point that measures 15/16" long by 5/8" wide.Nanton points are from the Developmentalperiod in age dating in the1,400 to 700 BP range. The full name for this type is the Nanton Wide Round Base. They were used as a pure hunting weapon for large game on arrows and/or spears.Material is a local chert. Found at a Buffalo KillSite, at Hingham,Liberty County, Montana.
