For your Vintage Pottery or Yellow Ware Vintage glazed sponged or mottled Bennington style yellow ware custard cup. This old custard has a flat round base with a recessed center and having flared slightly curved sides terminating at a plain rolled rim. The bowl is glazed with a nice yellow colored background glaze inside and out with sponged brown highlights. Very beautiful and nice looking. Please review the photos as they are part and parcel of the description.

Date: Early to mid 1900s.

Origin: Purchased at an estate sale in Southeastern Pennsylvania

Size: Measures ~2 1/8\" diameter at the base, ~3 1/4\" diameter at the top, and is ~2 3/8\" high.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a very well made and just beautiful vintage custard cup.

Condition: Super condition giving its age with no cracks, repairs, or hairlines. It does have crazing throughout but no staining or soiling except on the edge of the base. Please see photos to appreciate the quality, beauty and condition of this great miniature antique.
