HOFFMAN HARDWARE COMPANY Vintage Product Catalog circa 1956 For Sale

Hoffman Hardware, established in 1884 in Los Angeles, clearly was a full line wholesaler to the hardware industry in southern California.
This 1956 catalog is 3" thick and has 13 sections of products, from hand tools to guns, and everything in between that you would find in a hardware store.
It's almost 2,000 pages BIG and full of all sorts of items. EVEN PRICES! The items in the catalog are priced showing the retail price of the time.
AND it's in GREAT shape. It seems like it never got cracked. It belonged to the fine people at Parmeter Hardware at 9463 South Normandie in Los Angeles, as indicated on the inside front page. That's the hardware company that Earl Parmeter owned and operated until he partnered with Lester Jordan and formed Parmeter-Jordan in the mid-1950's. Parmeter-Jordan closed down in 1965 when Lester went to work for Robert Skeels & Co in downtown Los Angeles as their General Manager.
This is a wonder of a book.
