Beautiful, excellent condition fountain pen set. Nice flexy nib. Wonderful gift to love ones or yourself!
The fountain pen was recently serviced. The nib, holder, and feed were cleaned using an ultrasonic device, and a new ink sac was installed. The last four photos were taken during the servicing process.
The fountain pen is in very good shape. There are no chips or cracks. The mechanical pencil is in better condition, I think it was barely used or even unused. Both have NO personal engraving. The photos show the actual item, so please review them to judge the condition. They both have some normal wear signs from usage or storing.
The nib is very flexible, scoring at least 7 on my nib grading scale below. It writes fine (0.6 mm - lighter/heavier hand writing might produce thinner/thicker line variations than mine) and can flex up to triple broad (1.7 mm). Please note that flexing too fast and/or drier inks could cause railroading writing.My nib gradings: On the scale from 1 to 10 score, where 1 is firm, and 10 is Wet Noodle.Score 1: Firm - no flex at allScore 2: Tines could spread a little, but not Semi Flex.
Score 3: Semi Flex - bends with some pressure, makes lines 1 or 2 sizes wider (for example, fine to medium or broad)Score 4: Between Semi Flex and Flexible
Score 5: Flexible - needs some pressure to bend, makes lines 2 or 3 sizes wider (for example, fine to broad or double, triple broad)Score 6: Between Flexible and Very Flexible
Score 7: Very Flexible - only needs a little pressure. Nib should feel soft and react quickly, making lines 3 or more sizes wider when flexed.Score 8: Between Very Flex and Super Flex
Score 9: Super Flex, very close to Wet Noodle.Score 10: Wet Noodle - Flex with little pressure effort, very soft feel, very responsive, 3 or more line variation sizes are different when flexed.Return will be accepted within 14 days (from the day the item is delivered to the buyer), with a full refund minus the shipping fee; the buyer is also responsible for shipping the item back and paying the return postage.
