Genuinevintage sheet music and lyrics to this historic and descriptive Middlebury Collegesong -- an homage to the school's chief benefactor! Taken directly from an oldbook published in 1931 of college alma mater andpep songs, this is a beautiful, cream-colored page lightly tinged with the golden burnish that comes only with the passing years.
This original song sheet is over 90 years old and has survived the decades in fantastic condition.Two pages, both on the fronts so you can see the whole song for framing.The Note at the bottom of page 1 reads:"Gamaliel Painter, Middlebury's chief benefactor in its early days, made the college the residuary legatee in his will and thus his cane came into the college's possession. The President of the college may carry it only after an athletic victory over MIddlebury's chief rival, the University of Vermont.
