Offered from my father\'s private collection is this Montblanc Patron of Art Homage to Andrew Carnegie LimitedEdition 4810 fountain pen, released in 2002. A collector-owned example, it has never been used or inked and isoffered with its original presentation packaging and the accompanying booklet shown in the photographs.

The black precious-resin body is framed by intricate 925 sterling-silver openwork in the flowing Art Nouveau style.The sculptural clip depicts a female figure with butterfly-like wings, integrating beautifully with the ornamentalsilverwork on the cap. The contrast of polished black resin and delicate silver gives this edition its distinctivearchitectural presence.
The fountain pen features an 18K gold nib with decorative floral engraving and a piston-filling mechanism. Theoriginal box label and the sticker on the pen identify the nib as Medium (M). The edition was limited to 4,810examples worldwide; the box label and presentation plaque are both numbered 0616/4810.
Included are the fountain pen, fitted wooden presentation case with numbered plaque, illustrated outer packagingand Andrew Carnegie booklet shown.
