Each Postcard Numbered to Only 500

Don't miss out on this amazing Negro Leagues postcard set featuring 44 high quality postcards. This set features the "Mount Rushmore" of Negro Leagues players: Satchel Paige, Josh Gibson, Cool Papa Bell and Rube Foster. Each card set comes in a full color sealed box.

Nine cards featuring Rube Foster in different uniforms from 1902 to 1916. The card backs focus on his career and his experiences in playing integrated baseball and his plans for integrating Organized Professional Baseball (OPB).

Eight cards depict Cool Papa Bell during eight different stops in his baseball career from 1928 – 1943. Bell’s speed was legendary typifying “tricky baseball” or what had been known as “small ball” in OPB in the 19th century and Dead Ball Era before OPB turned to the spectacle of long ball. The card backs take a look at some key events that shaped the country and milestones in the civil rights struggle.

Fifteen cards focus on the Negro Leagues greatest ambassador, Satchel Paige, from 1928 – 1963. The fifteen different teams represented are only a fraction of the reported 100 teams Paige played for. The card backs detail his career at each stop and take note of the often-overlooked contributions Paige made towards integrating baseball.

Ten cards spotlight legendary slugger Josh Gibson from 1928 – 1944. One card features a portrait of Gibson taken from a Negro Leagues team picture for which, to date, there is no known record of him appearing in the line-up. Gibson is reported to have hit 800 to 960 home runs during his career depending on the source. The card backs take a look at the factors impacting Gibson’s home run totals and project a range of how many he might have hit in the Major Leagues had he been allowed to play.

The final card is a checklist card.

The postcard set features the paintings of Graig Kreindler and was produced by Negro Leagues History. It is officially licensed by the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM).
