Complete four issue 1965 set of OLD FORT NEWS featuring the Civil War Diary of attorney Robert S. Robinson (Medal of of Honor recipient; 93rd Reg't N.Y. Volunteers & A.D.C. to Gen. N.A. Miles commanding 1st Brigade, 1st Division, Army Corp 1861; Fort Wayne City Attorney, Lt. Governor of Indiana, Representative to Congress of Indiana & member of the Utah Commission). Illustrated. Over 200+ pages of diary entries as edited by Charles & Rosemary Walker. Old Fort News was a member/subscriber only publication of the Allen County-Fort Wayne Historical Society for their audience. These are subscriber copies back cover mailing address imprints (#1 is free from mailing address markings). Some very mild handling and aging indicators . . . but overall a nice, solid, complete, stable, and intact highly-collectible copies. Some spotty and brushed edge discoloration . . . light bumps and rubs. Issue #3 has a small upper right corner stain that runs on the corner thru the publication. Light staple rust. Not many of these on the secondary market. Sold as stated, but "as is". This first person, highly literate account has information not found elsewhere.
