RARE 1925 Hove England Mail View Novelty Postcard 12 Views Mechanical Photocrom For Sale

Unusual and scarce 1920s British mechanical novelty postcard featuring an illustrated little girl seated on a bright red automobile.
The front reads:
\"IN THE BEST OF SPIRITS, ANDSENDING YOU TWELVE VIEWSfrom HOVE\"
The automobile opens to reveal an attached accordion-fold strip containing 12 miniature black-and-white photographic views of Hove, England.
Visible views include The Floral Gardens, The Beach, The Front, Bowling Greens, The Downs, Brighton West Pier, Brighton Sunken Gardens and additional local scenes.
The photographic strip is marked The Photocrom Co., Ltd., London and Tunbridge Wells.
Reverse is headed \"MAIL VIEW NOVELTY\" and carries Photocrom copyright information.
The postcard was actually mailed from England to Miss Madeline L. Selig of Worcester, Massachusetts, with a 1925 postmark and handwritten message.
This is considerably more elaborate than a standard scenic postcard, combining colorful illustrated artwork with a concealed mechanical accordion souvenir containing twelve separate photographic views.
Exact examples of this Hove Mail View Novelty design were not located during current market research, although ordinary Photocrom postcards are readily available. This particular mechanical 12-view format appears substantially less common.
