Rare Guest Book Foreign Service Congress WW2 General Visit Barbados Packed For Sale

Very nice guest book spanning a whole career 1937-1958. Most years have entries especially earlier years.

Many significant names. Some visits from military people such as Ernest J. King, and other high ranking officers from the USS Davis, USS Lexington, and USS San Francisco.

Also Ruth Owen on July 4th, 1938. Ruth Bryan Owen was the first U.S. Congresswoman from the "Deep South" (Florida, 1928-1933) and the first female U.S. diplomat.
