This is a super rare Uri Roth hand carved extra large wood statue.
This Mother and Daughter hand carved, one of a kind, piece of art is signed by the artist, Uri Roth.
This item was hand made in Israel by hand out of a single piece of natural Olive Wood.
The size of this large statue figurine is 36\" tall x 12\" wide x 8\" deep.
The weight is just under 25 pounds without a box or packaging.
This item is hand carved signed at the bottom right with \"Uri Roth\" and some Hebrew letters on top.
From the best of our research this item was hand made by Uri Roth around 1940.

Uri Roth was born in 1927 in the town ofMunkatz, Czechoslovakia. Here he went to Hebrew school and received a Zionist education. He was talented in painting and handicraft, played the piano and dreamt of becoming a composer. On April 15, 1944, he was in the Ghetto of Munkatz, was in contact with the partisans, and finally deported to Auschwitz.
