Grade FN/VF 7.0 Year 1998 Publisher Image

This is a mid grade item. It will have a few minor defects and will generally appear to be in "slightly used" but not "roughly used" condition. Most comics, magazines, and books published in the past 30 years that have been read but carefully handled and stored will fall in this grade range. Allowed defects for this grade include: minor corner wear (bends and blunting), a light accumulation of spine wear that may include color-breaking stresses, a light accumulation of dents, and bends or folds less than one quarter inch in length. Some color breaking is allowed in a bend or fold in this grade range.

Description

Direct Edition. "The Heap!" Written by Todd McFarlane and Brian Holguin. Art by Greg Capullo, Danny Miki, Todd McFarlane and Chance Wolf. Cover by Greg Capullo and Danny Miki. Cog leaves a file on Lt. Colonel Al Simmons with Sam and Twitch and then meets up with Bootsy in the alley where they discuss Spawns future. Meanwhile, when Eddie Beckett tries to explain his feelings after finding a paper bag of necroplasm, he is nearly beaten to death by a member of the Dimino family. The necroplasm seeps out of the bag towards its newfound host and Eddie Beckett is painfully reborn as The Heap. Then, Spawns necroplasm mysteriously draws him to the dead zone where he is engulfed by The Heap. 32 pages, FC. NOTE: This issue is dedicated to John Leekley.
