Up for sale is a fantastic, authentic 8-piece curated estate lot of memorabilia from the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition / St. Louis World's Fair in case. This historic collection features a wonderful variety of exonumia, numismatics, and celluloid pinbacks celebrating one of the most famous world expositions in history. Most pieces have been carefully stored in protective collectors' flips and sleeves.


These are original, 122-year-old antiques.

Please carefully review all provided close-up photos of the fronts and backs to accurately judge the grading, wear, enamel chips, and natural metal oxidation for yourself. Items are being sold exactly as pictured and as-is.


Included:


1904 Encased Aluminum "Lucky Penny" Pocket Piece: Features a genuine 1904 Indian Head Cent securely struck inside an aluminum collar. Front reads: "Lucky Penny Pocket Piece / I Bring Good Luck. "Reverse reads: "World's Fair .1904. St. Louis."The aluminum retains a very good silver-colored luster with sharp, legible lettering.


Repoussé Metal Souvenir Trinket / Pin

Dish: Features a highly detailed central relief motif of the iconic Missouri Mule. Top rim reads "St. Louis Exposition" (reversed in stamping) and the bottom is dated "1904". It features a rich, dark original aged patina (uncleaned to preserve numismatic value).


Elongated / Pressed Penny #1 (Palace of Machinery): Rolled directly at the fair on a genuine Indian Head Cent. Features a highly crisp, sharp architectural engraving of the Palace of Machinery. Dated 1904. Housed in a cardboard coin flip.


Elongated / Pressed Penny #2 (Festival

Hall & Cascades): Rolled on a genuine Indian Head Cent. Displays incredibly fine architectural lines of Festival Hall and the Central Cascades. Logged under reference code M&D: MO SLWF-9a. Housed in a cardboard coin flip.


Missouri State Building Celluloid

Pinback Button (Premium Back):

Features a beautiful, colorful illustration of the grand dome. The front face is excellent. The reverse retains its original, intact paper insert marked "Made by F.F. Pulver Co., Rochester, N.Y." with 1904 patent dates. Clean metal reverse with minimal oxidation.


Mississippi Steamboat Celluloid

Pinback Button: Front displays a beautiful graphic layout of a historic riverboat. Front face is in great condition. The reverse displays advanced uniform surface rust/oxidation and an old "$35" price sticker, proving its genuine turn-of-the-century age.


Multi-Color Enamel Fleur-de-lis Pin:

Features a stamped brass base with red, blue, cream, and yellow enamel fill. The text reads "St. Louis 1904". Displays a period-correct, functional elongated pin stem and open "C" clasp mechanism. Shows some minor surface chipping to the enamel consistent with its 120+ year age.
