Vintage Waterford Crystal 10-inch Footed Celery Vase, which functions beautifully as a centerpiece flower vase.Produced in Ireland, this elegant lead crystal piece features a classic castellated/sawtooth scalloped rim, deeply cut starburst and criss-cross geometric panel accents, a knopp via the stem, and a starburst-cut circular pedestal foot base.The Old English/gothic typeface of the trademark "Waterford" etching on the bottom indicates this vase was made prior to the mid-1980s (specifically between roughly 1950 and 1986). After this period, Waterford transitioned to a more modern, sans-serif stamp.Pieces bearing this specific vintage mark were entirely hand-blown and hand-cut by master artisans at the original factory in Waterford, Ireland, making them highly desirable to collectors compared to newer pieces outsourced to other countries.This vase is in perfect condition, free from chips or cracks.
