Vintage KESTER hand soldering iron / soldering copper with its original marked wooden handle. A great old working-tool collectible with wonderful untouched patina and character.
Measures approximately 13¼” overall. The metal head measures approximately 3½” × 1”, handle is approximately 1⅜” wide, and total weight is 13.9 oz.
The wooden handle is prominently marked KESTER. Heavy metal head and shaft show the darkened surface, oxidation and wear expected from an old heat-used tool.
Condition: Vintage used condition with substantial age and working wear. Metal has surface rust, oxidation, pitting, discoloration and old marks. Wooden handle shows scratches, wear and visible age-related cracking/splitting, including around the shaft end. The handle remains attached. Please examine all photos closely for condition and construction. No attempt has been made to clean, polish or restore it.
A nice display piece for a collection of antique tools, tinsmithing equipment, early soldering equipment or industrial décor.
