Authentic mid-1980s Official Star Wars / Lucasfilm Fan Club collection from an original member (circa 1983–1985, Maureen Garrett era). This cohesive original-owner lot includes:
• Large double-sided promotional flyer “THE STAR WARS SAGA IS WITH YOU ALWAYS…” featuring the classic Return of the Jedi montage (Leia in slave costume with Luke, Han, Jabba, C-3PO, R2-D2, Ewoks, Royal Guards, etc.).
Reverse side is the full Official Star Wars Fan Club membership application form and benefits description (© Lucasfilm Ltd. 1983). It details the ROTJ membership kit (poster, 8 glossy color photos, Jedi logo patch, Yoda decal, ID card), a year’s subscription to Bantha Tracks, special services (fan mail forwarding, costuming guidelines, etc.), collector’s items, and the application form itself (P.O. Box 163, Mt. Morris, IL).
• Blue official renewal/welcome letter on club letterhead from Maureen Garrett, Director. Mentions George Lucas teaming with Jim Henson on Labyrinth, the upcoming Droids (R2-D2 & C-3PO) and Ewoks animated series, the second Ewok movie starting production, and the third Indiana Jones adventure beginning pre-production. Includes the $5 special product discount coupon. Classic “The Force will be with you, always…” closing.

Condition: Very good overall for 40-year-old paper ephemera. The large flyer shows normal light handling and edge wear but remains vibrant and complete on both sides. Catalogs, letter, and photos have expected mild age yellowing and minor creases from storage. Patch is clean and bright with strong embroidery. No major tears, stains, or writing noted. Please examine all photos carefully — this is exactly what is included.
