Vintage Sportcraft Hand Painted Beano Clown Bean Bag Toss Carnival Wood - Pair For Sale

Offered here is a fantastic matching pair of vintage Sportcraft wooden clown bean bag toss targets, commonly referred to by collectors and sellers as the “Beano the Clown” game.

These feature classic old-school carnival/circus clown graphics with large open-mouth targets and would make an outstanding addition to a vintage game collection, carnival or circus collection, game room, bar, arcade, restaurant, man cave, or retro décor display.

Each target measures approximately:

15 inches wide x 19 inches high

Both boards are constructed from wood/plywood and feature hinged rear panels that allow them to stand upright at an angle for play. They can also be folded flat for easier storage.

Metal side support pieces hook over small retaining nails to keep the boards opened at the proper angle.

Condition / Functionality:

Both boards have good working hinges and can be opened and used for their intended purpose.

One of the boards is missing one of its metal side support/stay pieces. This does not meaningfully affect functionality, as the board still holds open securely and remains usable.

These are genuine vintage pieces and show considerable cosmetic wear consistent with age and use, including surface checking/crazing, scratches, scuffs, marks, staining, discoloration, edge and corner wear, graphic wear, and general patina.

The aged appearance gives them a tremendous authentic vintage carnival look.

Both fronts retain their original Sportcraft logos and are marked “PATENT PENDING.”
